Aaron glanced up at Aurora's orb as it waned, turning his gaze directly to her afterward. His look tried to reassure her as it was obvious she was fearful of the darkness ahead. To be honest he was too, but his outward posture didn't show it as much as hers. Instead he slowly walked forward, torch raised in one hand whilst Mjolnir was held ready in the other. After a few moments of walking they both reached a gigantic circular chamber filled with bookcases and shelves. The sounds had come from floating spheres and magic contraptions that had seen better days.

"It's a library, or codex." Aaron looked around in awe, bringing light to certain scrolls and books around them. "Looks like we have some housekeeping to do." He continued to the center of the room from which they could see the countless aisles of shelves.

"There must be all the information we could need in this room alone..."

The library itself was built deep in the warrens, it mustn't have been the main library of the place, it looked far more like some kind of restricted access area. Aurora walked alongside the shelves running her index finger over the spines of the books, centuries of dust gathered on the tip of her finger. There were hundreds, maybe even thousands even in this narrow room, although it was hard to tell in the darkness how large the room truly was. Some of the titles of the books were written in strange languages that Aurora had never encountered before, dialects now lost in time, dead languages. There were a couple of titles Aurora recognised as being in old Eldarin, but her knowledge of the old language was so limited she could not decipher what the titles meant.

"Aaron," Aurora spoke with eagerness as she stumbled upon a lectern set back in an alcove of the wall, "I think I found where to start."

Upon the lectern was a large green book, leather and bound as though it contained very important information that was only meant for the most senior of authority. Upon it were two great metal clasps that kept the book sealed. The title was hard to see at first in the dimness of the room, but as Aurora moved closer she could make out the title 'Valor Santori' followed by something else. She thought that perhaps this was some kind of record of the order itself and maybe it could illuminate the two on what exactly they had wandered into.

"Well you can touch it first, I don't wanna be cursed by some ancient book." Aaron half-joked, giving a smirk yet sincerely fearing what traps or consequences may be left behind in a place as old and magical as this. "Besides, you're better at reading their language. I'll save myself for the picture books." He moved around the lectern, staying within earshot of Aurora to listen to what she might find. Meanwhile he continued to peruse the shelves, opening dusty scrolls to examine their markings.

"Alot of arcane and natural magic, no signs of dark magics. That's a good sign; means these weren't a bunch of mad necromancers." He nodded, reassured that they might actually be in the home of guardians and not villains. "I can see some time runes too, it looks like they were quite adept at using time and space in their works."

"You got anything from your creepy book?" Aaron half-turned his head to listen to Aurora better.

"At lot of this is in a language I don't understand." She said to Aaron, clearly disappointed.

Aurora wasn't too hard on herself about not being able to read this strange language, after all it was an ancient form of Eldarin, something she thought that maybe the elders of Feyworld didn't even understand fully.
"They look like spells of some sort," She sighed, "Oh well, we'll keep looking, have you found anything?" She called to Aaron.

Whilst she awaited his answer she moved towards the parts of the room still shrouded with darkness, wondering how far the chamber went beyond that abyss. As she looked at the ornate drawings on the ceiling that were becoming illuminated by her orb, her foot hit something. Looking down she saw the skeletal remains of a man. She gasped with the initial shock, bending down to inspect closer what he had clasped in his boney hands. Whatever it was was covered with a sheet, now layered with dust and the wears of time. She drew the sheet back to reveal a beautifully ornate bow. It was made of some splendid wood and looked as though it was a work of art more than a weapon.

She reached down to prise the thing from the deadman's hands but as she came in contact with the bow there was a sudden shock, like a bolt of electric shooting through her body and then she was thrown backwards.

Aaron sighed as they seemed to be getting nowhere in a place so full of knowledge. He didn't understand how the former inhabitants used the place without some sort of power to help organise or translate all of the tomes. With this in mind he continued through to the other end of the large hall, calling back to Aurora as he faintly heard her question.
"Maybe..." His eyes narrowed at an ajar wooden door, pressing his hand against it to peek through. Within he found a circular chamber in the center of which was a large crystal, easily recognizable as a Nexus. "Found the power."

Slowly he pushed himself through the doorway and into the room, raising Mjolnir towards the crystal. Sparks crackled around the hammer, before flying forward and dancing around the surface of the Nexus. At first nothing happened, until shudders sounded out within the walls. The crystal lit up a bright blue, sending its colourful energy through veins in the stone around it. Eventually this light ran throughout the ruins, powering other smaller crystal that countered the darkness around them. Magical displays appeared of the bookshelves, interactable by anyone and allowing them to read translated titles and words. It seemed the library had relied upon this power for its knowledge to be accessible by all.

One thing he didn't like though was the sound coming from where Aurora was, causing Aaron to move quickly back into the main room.
"Aurora," He called as he turned the corner to her. "Are you okay?"

Aurora was thrown backwards and although she landed in the same room she felt something was different. She looked around for Aaron and yet she could not see him. Two figures stood in front of her, one male and one female, they were engaged in a panicked conversation.
"We don't have long!" The man said in desperation as the woman frantically chanted towards something in the corner. "Sariah, they are coming, we must protect what we can and go."

The woman was not listening, she was in some trance-like state and Aurora followed her hypnotic gaze towards what she focussed upon. It was the green book that Aurora had found, she was forming some kind of barrier around it, trying to protect it.

"Let's go!" The male shouted, as he grabbed from his side the bow that Aurora had found and wrapped it in a sheet. Clasping the bow in hand, he tried one final time to break the woman from her trance, "Sariah!" He shouted, but she was not responsive. He began to run away from where Aurora was laying on the floor, the pair seemingly completely unaware of her presence. Aurora rose to her feet, standing next to the woman, Sariah. Her eyes were glazed over with a milky hue, this magic was powerful. Aurora followed the stream of blue light to the lectern and to the book. She found herself with an overwhelming urge to turn the page, to see if she could read the book when it was in it's full prime and not the dusty tome she had found with Aaron. As she reached out her pale hand, her index finger outstretched, she felt a cold ripple through her arm. Then the feeling became a pulsation from her arms and throughout her entire body. As she began to feel a sharp pain in her head the light in the room went out, the man from before had begun to shout "Gods help us." And then there was nothing.

Aurora woke up in the same room but this time it was cold and forgotten, it was the room that her and Aaron Almis had discovered. Aurora knew what had happened, she had seen a vision of the day this order had fallen and how that bow came to be clasped in a dead mans arms. Her head was aching and she looked down at her arm but all sensations of magic had ceased.  She stood up and rested on the lectern for support. Looking down at the book the page on which it was open, with scrawled and faded text, it was now as clear to her as if it was written in English.

"What the fuck just happened?" She asked, staring at the bow that still laid on the floor.

"I'm not sure, what did happen?" Aaron was both worried and curious about what had just happened to Aurora. "I turned the power on, so now we can understand all the sections and relics but..." He looked around, trying to find the source of what had happened until his eyes rested on the bow. "I doubt it affected a bow." His gaze then flickered back to Aurora. "It looks well-made though, and you're quite the shooter." At first he thought about handing her the bow, but then realised touching it was probably what had sent her into confusion. Thinking best against it, he instead stepped aside to allow her to if she wished.

"There's probably a lot of powerful but confusing things in these halls, so if we're going to rebuild an order like this we should spend time learning about it all first. I don't want to bring people into a place that might still be dangerous for them." He sighed, scanning the distance in each direction. "Might take some time but, it'll be worth it in the end. Atleast until we know what's coming..."

"I think I just witnessed this order collapsing, and somehow, I think I absorbed some knowledge from...that." Aurora said as she gestured a nod towards the green bound book on the lectern.
"It's although I can read it all now, which should be helping in finding somewhere to start with all this."

Aurora stood for a second as she awaited Aaron's reply, and thought of her father in this moment. He was a man with a strong sense of adventure, someone who wanted to see every edge of the galaxy. Whilst Aurora's mother was content with learning from books and remaining with her people, Sam Crow was a man who searched and swindled his way through the stars. She thought that her father would have smiled to see her here, with a man who fell from the sky in a place forgotten in time. She smiled and looked down at the bow. As Aaron stepped aside to allow her to pick it up she did just that, this time cautiously resting her hand on it in case the same thing happened again. This time there was no shock, this time she held the bow and felt as though she had been holding it all her life.

"I wonder if this place has somewhere I could try this thing out."
